Authoring Tool

The collaborative authoring tool within ASAP enables non-technical staff to quickly and easily develop online courses, tests, quizzes, surveys and evaluations. It also allows staff to schedule events, launch web conferences and manage self-study assignments and instructor-led courses.

Accessed with a standard web browser, there is no software to download or plug-ins to install. Authoring is immediately available to your “content builders” - subject matter experts, instructional designers, graphic artists, etc. - wherever they can access the Web.

ASAP employs a structured, best-practices process for content development and publishing. Geographically dispersed staff can flexibly and collaboratively develop training materials drafts, edit and conduct quality assurance reviews and approvals, maintain version controls and publish final materials for the learner community.

ASAP's predefined templates simplify the creation of eLearning content. If you can use PowerPoint™, then you are skilled enough to build eLearning content within ASAP. For advanced users, ASAP also accepts Flash, HTML and Javascript for more sophisticated designs.

ASAP also provides a library of graphic images, an upload function for importing proprietary multimedia and automated test, quiz, survey and evaluation building capabilities. Content is organized as “topics”, which are stored in ASAP's database for easy search and reuse when developing other courses.

Organizations new to eLearning will appreciate ASAP’s authoring simplicity, while experienced developers will appreciate advanced developing functionality as well as the ability to streamline their course creation process and substantially reduce development costs.
