  1. What personally identifiable information is collected from you?

Our site's registration form requires users to give us contact information (like their name and email address).

We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our Web site. Your IP address is not associated with your contact information for any purpose.

  2. What are cookies and how are they used?

A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive.

We use cookies to save your login id so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit our site.

Also, each time you log in, a cookie is sent to your browser so that we can keep your user profile from page to page in our site without having to pass your email address and password along with each request. We save this cookie with an internal ID that represents your user account along with each request you make. This information is saved for your company's own auditing purposes and so that ePath can monitor the ease of use of our site. This information is not used for any marketing purposes. This cookie is deleted when you close your browser.

  3. How is your information used?

Contact information from the Builder, Manager and Learner registration forms is used when necessary for account management and technical support reasons related to you or your organization's use of our products and services.  We will NOT share your contact information with other companies unless you provide us your permission.  You may opt-out of information sharing; see the choices section below.

We will NOT share the information provided on the Learner registration forms for any marketing purposes.  We will not contact Learners for marketing purposes unless permission to do so is provided to ePath by the Manager.

During your initial trial period ePath may contact you for sales and support purposes; however, we will not share your contact information without your permission.

  4. With whom may your information be shared?

Generally, ePath  will NOT disclose any of your personally identifiable information except when we have your permission or under special circumstances, such as when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.  If you provide us your permission, ePath may disclose your personal information to business partners for marketing purposes, but this is specifically described to you prior to data collection.  Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, we will require them to conform to our privacy standards and to allow us to audit them for compliance.

  5. What choices are available to you regarding collection, use, and distribution of your information?

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from our partners at the point where we request information about the visitor. We will tell customers initially and at least once annually, how they may remove their names from marketing lists. Also, a customer may contact us at any time to remove their name from such lists.

  6. How can you access, update or delete your information?

ePath gives users the following options for changing and modifying information previously provided:

    • Course Builders and Managers may update their information in ManageKit™.
    • Learners may have their information updated by a Manager and may change their own password.

  7. What kind of security precautions are in place to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of your information?

This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Your Builder Account Information is password-protected so that only you and others in your organization that have been granted the proper level of authority by the Account Manager have access to this personal information. You may edit your Account Information by using your ID and password.

We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone.  ePath will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email. Also remember to log out and close your browser window when you have finished. This is to ensure that others cannot access your personal information and correspondence if you share a computer with someone else or are using a computer in a public place like a library or Internet cafe.

ePath takes steps to ensure that your Account Information is handled securely. Our system is optionally enabled with SSL, which encrypts data between your browser and our web servers. While this is not 100% guaranteed security, it is the best technology available today to prevent others from easily seeing your information before it gets to us. Also, we have diligently secured our systems with encryption and other forms of security when it does get to us.
